Research Use Only Policy

1. Purpose and scope

Peptide Labs offers peptide products for laboratory research and analytical purposes only. Products identified as Research Use Only (RUO) are not intended for use in humans or animals, and are not offered as drugs, dietary supplements, foods, cosmetics, or veterinary products.

2. Prohibited uses

RUO products may not be purchased, supplied, or used for human or veterinary administration. Prohibited uses include injection, ingestion, topical application, self-experimentation, and use for diagnosis, treatment, prevention, performance enhancement, weight management, or other personal health purposes. Products may not be relabeled, promoted, or resold for any such purpose.

3. Purchaser responsibilities

By placing an order, the purchaser represents that the products will be used only for lawful research and that the purchaser has appropriate training, facilities, equipment, and procedures for their handling. The purchaser is responsible for determining whether the acquisition, possession, storage, transfer, and intended use of each product comply with applicable law. The purchaser further represents that:

1. The purchaser is at least 21 years old.
2. The purchaser will not administer the products to any person or animal.
3. The purchaser will maintain appropriate laboratory controls and prevent unauthorized access.
4. The purchaser will comply with applicable safety, disposal, and recordkeeping requirements.

4. Product descriptions and research information

Information published on peptidelabs.co, including product descriptions, scientific references, and analytical results, is provided for research purposes. It is not medical advice, a treatment recommendation, or instructions for clinical use. References to scientific studies do not establish that a product is safe or effective for human use.

5. Regulatory status

Unless a product is expressly identified otherwise with supporting authorization, products offered as RUO have not been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for diagnosis, treatment, cure, mitigation, or prevention of disease. An RUO designation does not by itself determine a product's legal status. Applicable requirements depend on the product, its intended use, and the circumstances of its sale and distribution.

6. Quality information

Where available, Certificates of Analysis and other test records describe the particular tests, samples, and batches identified in those documents. Such records do not establish sterility, clinical suitability, FDA approval, or fitness for administration to humans or animals. Purchasers should review the applicable documentation before laboratory use.

7. Handling, storage, and disposal

RUO products must be handled by personnel familiar with laboratory safety practices. Purchasers are responsible for appropriate protective equipment, storage conditions, access controls, spill procedures, and disposal in accordance with applicable requirements. Keep products away from children and unauthorized persons.

8. Order review and restrictions

Peptide Labs may request information reasonably necessary to assess an order's intended research use and may decline, cancel, or limit orders where there are compliance or safety concerns. Shipping availability does not represent a determination that a product may lawfully be used for every purpose or in every jurisdiction.

9. Responsibility and liability

Purchasers assume responsibility for their handling and use of products after delivery, subject to applicable law. Peptide Labs does not authorize uses contrary to this policy. Nothing in this policy limits rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Changes to this policy

Peptide Labs may revise this policy from time to time. The current version will be posted on peptidelabs.co with its effective date.
